This website and blog is designed and maintained by Katrina Blankenship, owner of Computer Connections – a 20 year old business in Powhatan, VA. Creating web design, graphics, marketing, photography, videography, radio shows, and much more. My husband Curtis is not only a huge supporter of our work – but Pastors our church Cumberland Baptist Temple and owns Blankenship’s Appliance here in Powhatan. We have 6 children under 12 years old – I homeschool them during the school year and design websites to help support our family. We also share “our story” and song with churches and organizations on Friday Evenings throughout Virginia.
The www.powhatanva.com website was created in 1995 for the community to connect neighbours. We are now showing 15,000-18,000 hits per day on the website. Subscribers to our online Email NEWSLETTER goes to over 6,200 subscribers – and July 2011 we rolled out our new PRINT Newspaper/Journal to allow even more exposure for church groups, civic organizations, business leaders and much more!
We have an INCREDIBLE community that sticks together to have STRONG, HONEST Government to uphold and support the cititizens of our county. We have an INCREDIBLE group of preachers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, contractors, entrepreneurs, parents, and children!
The goal of our works is to continue this tradition and restore our community to what it was established.
